Animals

One of the biggest challenges facing a photographer is to catch animals in the act of being themselves. Here are a few of my tries.

Collared Lizard - Chaco Culture National Historical Park, New Mexico

Unlike most lizards, these collared lizards, the heirs of the great Anasazi civilization, are fearless and very territorial: the flexed legs and curled tail are threat gestures.
